This is a meme hosted every Friday by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Book bloggers answer a question each week then they check out how others answered it. It’s a great way for bloggers to connect and learn more about each other!

This week’s question is:
What is the longest book you’ve read? What are your favorite 600+ page reads?
The longest book I’ve ever read has to be the Song Of Ice and Fire series by G.R.R. Martin.
Each book is at least 900 page-long (in paperback) and I’ve made my way through the first three books so far. Although my interest has a bit dwindled while reading book 3, it’s still a series I recommend to any reader interested in fantasy.
My favorite +600 page read is the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. Do I really need to explain why?
What’s the longest book you’ve ever read?
Someone else mentioned the Game of Thrones book but I haven’t heard of it before. Maybe I’ll check it out! Have a great Friday 🙂
Here’s my FF!
Thanks for your comment! I checked out your FF post and I agree with you, The Host was a great book, underrated although it has nothing to do with Twilight. Have a good Friday!
I loved Game of Thrones (and Clash of Kings) too. I’ve got book 3 sitting around to read but had to take a break. I also liked the Terry Goodkind series.
Thanks for your comment Tanya! About A Game of Thrones: I felt exactly the same. I had read the first three books AND watched the first season of the TV show all in the course of two months and I had to take a break… I’ll probably go back to it eventually, though.
I’ve never read of Game of Thrones, but I’ve heard great things about it. I also chose Harry Potter, too, mainly because I only read YA and those are usually never longer than 500 pages.

Thanks for following and commenting Eileen! I tried to follow you as well (via email subscription, which is my favorite way to follow a blog) but it didn’t work 😦 I’ll visit your blog and try again, though!
I enjoyed the hbo series of the first game of thrones book. I have started reading it but is taking awhile considering its length.
